Vista Terrace is located in the San Ysidro neighborhood of South San Diego. The recently renovated Vista Terrace Hills community sits on a 10.64-acre site just north of the Mexican border, near the Byer Boulevard bus corridor, local shopping, and services.

Eden Housing acquired the property in 2015 when it was at risk of being converted to market-rate housing. An extensive renovation was completed in 2018.
